Day 2: A morning in October

AJK: Wake up early tomorrow to watch the sun rise. Who else is up? When was the last time you were up so early?

High winds, waves are crashing. A gull is riding the waves for its meal, embodying calm during change. Choosing change. I admire its composure.

The first signs of others awake—

A young dad pushes a stroller wearing a white ball cap as a Dalmatian strides beside him. A quiet couple dressed in dark clothing walks on the grass with a German Shepherd. A runner of advanced age stops to tie his shoelace; his jet black canine companion calm and steady.

I stayed until my body shivered… and then stayed a little longer.
